For companies
Peri/menopause at work affects every team.
Women between 45 and 55 are often the most experienced people in a company. Perimenopause lasts four to eight years on average and arrives exactly when they are in the most senior roles they have ever held. We will prepare a programme that makes it possible to talk about, clearly and without taboo.

Why it matters
No one is collecting Czech data on menopause in the workplace yet. Research from abroad, however, gives a fairly consistent picture.
- Two thirds of women (67%) aged 40 to 60 say menopause symptoms had a mostly negative effect on them at work. Most often reduced concentration (79%) and higher levels of stress (68%). CIPD, United Kingdom, 2,185 respondents, 2023
- More than a quarter (27%) say menopause had a negative impact on their career progression. Six percent left work because of a lack of support, another 17% considered leaving. CIPD, 2023
- One in ten women who went through menopause while employed left their job because of the symptoms. Eight out of ten say they received no information or support from their employer. Fawcett Society, United Kingdom, 2022
- Thirteen percent of employed women experienced an adverse work outcome because of menopause symptoms, and eleven percent missed days of work. The authors of the study estimated the annual cost of lost work time in the United States at 1.8 billion dollars. Mayo Clinic Proceedings, 4,440 respondents, 2023
What is missing is the same everywhere. Not treatment, but information and a trained manager. That is exactly the part we can provide.
What we will do for you
- A talk for employees. Sixty minutes, online or in person.
- A workshop for HR and team leaders. How to have the conversation and which adjustments to working arrangements help.
- A tailored programme. A series for larger companies.
